Naru Intelligence participates in the ThinkTank “Data Space for Business Momentum” highlighting the value of data and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

ThinkTank “Data space for business momentum” was held on May 2 organized by BAIC and INNOLAB Bilbao with the collaboration of Tecnalia and brought together nearly twenty experts who shared their experiences, success stories and keys to address the data life cycle and get the maximum value in its exploitation. Among the topics addressed by the experts, applications such as industry, health, mobility and logistics were covered.

Health panel was attended by Amaia Méndez (Researcher at the University of Deusto); Roberto Bilbao (Director of the Basque Biobank of BIOEF); Macarena Sevilla (Director of Data Science of Naru Intelligence); Iñaki Pariente (Managing Partner of Dayntic Legal) and Daniel Sáez (President of Gaia-X Hub Spain, Member of the Board of Directors of Gaia-X Association and Director of Strategic Intelligence and Transfer of ITI).

During the panel discussion, topics of interest were addressed such as the importance of governance, privacy and security in healthcare data management and its potential in the application of Artificial Intelligence and data analysis techniques for the generation of knowledge and its incorporation in both clinical and strategic decision making. The conversation was framed in the legal and juridical aspects that are currently in place or are being worked on by the regulatory bodies and the importance of involving the corresponding agents from very early stages.

From a clinical research perspective, some of the barriers in data management, access and exploitation were presented, such as data access times, control over data reuse or access to robust and representative datasets. Bringing a business perspective, Naru Intelligence shared how with its technology and value proposition help to address these barriers and minimize them, and how data management and obtaining value and knowledge outline its business opportunity, aligned with the opportunity for researchers to achieve more robust and applicable results in their daily lives.
